Content on the front page

I added some stats and some links to random pages, and the Categories for people and guilds. Ideally, it'd be nice to put some little boxes on the page which had the first few lines from (a) a character profile; (b) a guild profile; (c) perhaps also an event. These could change each day, or just be random each time you load. Not sure how to do that though, hehe! -Boreas

The boxes are easy enough to do - it's just a series of templates. The content that changes on a daily or random basis is much, much harder though. On Wikipedia, they have a team of people who plan what's going on the front page days, weeks or months in advance, depending on the content type. I'm not sure how it'll be best to manage this, though I'll try to com up with some suggestions once we have things forming up. Curio 13:40, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm going to look at changing the layout slightly on the front page so that there's more room for categories. Or possibly change that so there's just one link to a list of all categories used... maybe. Feedbaaaack!! Spolli 07:09, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

I think the categories should be arranged so that everything can be accessed from the main page rather then only if you specifically search for it. I didn't even know there was a player lore category till I landed on it with the random page thing. Arrange a few categories and their sub categories and that should really be enough.

Events

The link on the main page does not go to the category but rather to a page. I made it redirect to the category, but you might want to fix it.
